LegalPrivacy notice

Your details,
handled plainly.

What we collect through this website, why, where it goes and what you can ask us to do about it. Last updated 9 October 2026.

The notice

Seven short
sections.

01

Who we are

Burnett Creative Ltd is the data controller for this website. We are registered in Scotland under company number SC879201, with our registered office at Sullivan Street, Inverness IV2 7BD.

Questions about this notice go to kieren@bcreativeltd.com.

02

What we collect and why

When you request a free marketing audit, we ask for your name, business name, email address and phone number. Your website is optional. We use these to review your online presence and reply to you. Our lawful basis is that you have asked us to take those steps before any contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).

If you email or phone us, we keep the correspondence so we can deal with your enquiry and any work that follows.

We do not sell enquiry information or use it for automated decisions. If you accept advertising cookies, Meta may use website activity to personalise advertising as described below.

03

Where it goes

The audit form sends your details as an email to our mailbox. That email is delivered by Resend (processing in the EU) and received in our Microsoft 365 mailbox. Nothing you type into the form is stored on this website.

The website is hosted by Vercel. Like every web host, Vercel records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. Those logs are kept for a short period.

We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate website statistics, such as public page views, referrers and device types, and Vercel Speed Insights to measure loading speed and responsiveness. These tools do not use advertising cookies. We exclude private audit reports and remove query strings and fragments from the page addresses sent to both tools. We do not send form answers to either tool.

Ratings and reviews shown on the site come from our Google Business Profile. We fetch them on our servers, so viewing them here does not send your details to Google.

04

Cookies

We store your cookie choice in your browser for six months. Essential storage may also be used for secure access to private audit reports. Fonts and video are served from our own domain.

Only if you accept advertising cookies, we load Meta Pixel (ID 1684972046582133). It measures page views and successful audit enquiries and supports advertising measurement, optimisation and audiences. Meta receives technical information such as your IP address, browser, page address and cookie identifiers, and may associate this with your Meta account. We do not send the names, email addresses, phone numbers or other answers entered into the form to the Pixel.

Meta cookies such as _fbp and _fbc may remain for up to approximately three months. Advertising tracking is optional: rejecting it does not affect the website or form. Use Cookie settings in the footer to withdraw or change consent. Withdrawing stops future tracking and removes accessible first-party Meta cookies; it does not undo information already sent.

Our basis for this advertising tracking is your consent. Meta Platforms Ireland processes Pixel data under its own privacy and business tools terms, and data may be processed outside the UK or EEA. Read Meta’s privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/ for its processing, transfer safeguards and retention details.

05

How long we keep it

Enquiries we do not take further are deleted within twelve months. If we work together, we keep the records we need for the contract and for tax purposes, normally six years after the work ends.

06

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict what we do with it. Email kieren@bcreativeltd.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are not happy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
